Gün geçtikçe Batı kültürü ve Batı kökenli kelimelerle daha yakındantanışmaktayız. Bu çalışmada, Türkçemize giren kelimelerin durumu, ‘Türkçe Sözlük’ünilk ve son baskısındaki şekillerine göre incelenmiştir. İlk ve son baskıda geçen yabancıkelimelerin sayısı, giriş dönemleri ve giriş şekilleri göz önüne alınarak karşılaştırmayöntemiyle genel bir yargıya ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır.

As time goes we get more acquainted with western culture and western originated words. In this study, the situation of the words which entered in Turkish, was analyzed according to their forms in the first and the last publication of Turkish Dictionary. It is tried to reach a general conclusion by comparison method taking into consideration of the number of the foreign words, their introduction time, and the way of introduction in the first and the last publications.
