Mustafa’ya abartılarak aksettirilmesi sonucu görevinden alınıp, Lefkoşa’ya sürülmek istenmesini hazmedemedi. Padişah’ın damadıSinek Mustafa Paşa tarafından aleyhinde kullanılan basit bir olay yüzünden hakkında yazılan fermana âsî olup beraberinde ikibinden fazla silahlıadamıyla İstanbul üzerine yürüyerek Bolu’ya kadar geldi 1761-1762 . Olayların büyümesinden ve vahim sonuçlarından endişe eden devlet, durumu yatıştırıcıve isyanıbüyümeden önleyici tedbirler almasaydıOsmanlıTarihi olandan farklıyazılabilirdi.
