Material Requirements Planning MRP system is a production management system which

aims for increase in productivity and customer pleasure as decreasing in inventory costs. Recent years, in Turkey, most of firms especially in manufacturing industry started or planned to use this system. MRP system as every new system, with the effect of complexity and uncertainty inherent in real production systems, contains lots of difficulties at the beginning phase. In this study, uncertainty in processing times are dealt with Fuzzy Sets Theory, and an application of material requirements planning system in a firm manufacturing solar energy and water heating systems is presented
