The Anatolian people are much concerned about the clothes they put on and the carpets and flat weaves they produce ! to sit on and to protect their clothes. In Anatolia, it is the same person who produces the textile products and who makes the weaving. The weaving he prepares for dress andfinery is saved in the products woven by him applying the technique of carpet andflat weaves like rug (kilim), cicim, sili and sumak. Those who are immigrants also carry their belongings in these weaving. When the carpet and the flat weaves are woven as dowry, rug and large chest, it is woven diligently. Each of the material, the weaving technique and the features of motives is different. The main difference with the weaving that is used in protecting the textile products and carpet and the flat weaves comes from their technique. The weavings like dızgah, tezgah, üç ayak and kondu - that are produced to protect the textile products are woven with a shuttle in workbench. The carpet and the flat weaves are woven with a kirkit in the workbenches that are called ip ağacı (the tree of string), halı ağacı, hana and ısdar. In Anatolia, torba, heybe, çuval, kundak, parzun, farmaş and garçın are used to protect and to carry the textile products.Each of the material has different material, technique, color, motive and quality changing from one region to the other
