Safevi Dönemi Figüratif Kompozisyonlu Azerbaycan Kadife Kumaşlarının Kompozisyon Özellikleri

The Composition Properties of the Azerbaijan Safavid Figural Velvets

In this study are considered the composition properties of the Azerbaijan Saf avid figural velvets, which occupy a significant place among palace textiles, produced in the period between 1500-1630, i.e., from the substantiation of the Azerbaijan Safavid State until his transformation in Iran Saf avid State. İt is marked, that compositions of these fabrics were developed by Tabriz painters and they represent Azerbaijan Art irrespective of a place of their manufacture because they belong to Tabriz Art School. Similarity of compositions of these fabrics and miniatures of Tabriz Art School of the given epoch is emphasized. On samples of fabrics the basic composite and color features of these fabrics are looked through, are traced the general tendencies of change of these features during the given period. In spite of the fact that within many centuries the art created in these territories is not Persian, the western scientists and after them, the whole world names and accepts its Persian. It is necessary to do huge work to change these representations and the Azerbaijan art historians should work in this direction.
