Gaybet  döneminin  başlamasıyla  Şiî-İmâmiyye  içerisinde  biri  Ahbârîlik  diğeri  de  Usûlîlik  olmak  üzere  iki önemli düşünce ekolü ortaya çıkmıştır. Usûlî düşüncenin ana hatlarıyla şekillenmesinde Şeyh Müfîd’in önemli payı vardır. Ancak ortaya çıkan bir düşünce ekolüne kimlerin katkı sağladığı kadar bizatihi sistemin oluşum süreci de önemlidir. Bu makale Hasan el-Askerî’nin vefatından sonra taraftarlarının yaşadığı temel problemler üzerine odaklanarak ve birtakım ipuçlarından hareketle Usûlî düşüncenin doğuşuna nelerin etki etmiş olabileceği üzerinde durmaktadır. Bunun yanında gaybet döneminde karşılaşılan problemlerin çözümünde İmâmî  âlimlerin yaklaşımlarına yer vererek Usûlî düşüncenin Ahbârî anlayıştan hangi noktalarda farklılaştığını ortaya koymaya çalışmaktadır.

With the beginning of occultation period, two major schools of thought has emerged as Akhbâriyya and the other Usuliyya in the Shi’i-Imamiyyah. Shaikh Mufid has an important role in the shaping of Usûli thought’ main lines. However, the process of the system’s formation is also important itself as well as importance of who contributed to an emerged school of thought. This article has emphasized what can be affective to the rising of Usûli thought moving from some clues, by focusing on the main problems experienced by the followers of Hasan al-Askari after the death of him. Moreover, it has tried to present in what points Akhbâri thought differs from Usûli thought, by addressing Imamiyyah scholars’ approaches in solving of problems faced during the occultation period.
