Sıvı soğutkan toplanma deposu, (receiver) soğutucu akışkanın sistemden toplanıp depolanması, sistemde meydana gelen dalgalanmaların karşılanması, bazı soğutma sistemlerindeki sıvı depolanma gereksiniminin karşılanması maksatlarıyla ve genel anlamda sistemin yüksek basınç tarafında bulunan bir depodur. Soğutma sistemlerinde kullanılan bu depo için uygulamada bilimsel usullere dayalı herhangi bir seçim kriterinin kullanılmayışı ve firma kataloglarına göre tercih edilmesi büyük problemlere yol açmaktadır. Bu çalışmada sıvı soğutkan toplanma deposunun (receiver) soğutma sistemleri için kapasite tayininin bilimsel yöntemlere göre seçilebilirliği ayrıntılı olarak irdelenmiştir.

The receiver is a tank located generally near the high pressure area of the system and is used for storing of cooling liquid coming from the system, stabilising of heat variations and for liquid storing within the cooling system. Since any selection criteria based on scientific methods is not used and it is chosen according to the company cataloque for the receiver used within cooling systems, it causes big problems. In this work, for the cooling system of receivers determination of capacity was investigated according to scientific methods
