Sıvı seviyesinin denetlenmesinde çeşitli kontrol sistemleri kullanılmaktadır. Değişik sıvı seviye kontrol sistemlerinin uzaktan denetlenmesi durumunda çalışma performansları farklılık göstermektedir. Bu çalışmada, bir ya da birden daha fazla sayıdaki depolarda sıvı seviyesinin mikrodenetleyici, bilgisayar ve kablosuz iletişim tekniği kullanılarak uzaktan kontrolü gerçekleştirilmiştir. Telefon hatları ya da özel çekilmiş hatların kullanıldığı sistemlere göre, radyolrekanslı dijital veri iletimi sayesinde sistemde daha yüksek doğruluk, mikrodenetleyicili sistem sayesinde de ölçüm ve kontrol ünitelerindeki karmaşık devreler ortadan kaldırılarak sistem hem basitleştirilmiş ve hem de güvenilirliği artırılmıştır.

Various liquid level control techniques are used in liquid level control systems. The operation performance of remote control of various liquid level control systems can be different. In this study, liquid levels of tanks are controlled using microcontroller, computer and wireless communication system. This gives a superior precision over the classic systems in which the communication is supplied via PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) or a leased line, and with the aid of a microcontroller system the need for a complex control system circuit is eliminated. Thus, both the system is simplified and the reliability of the system is increased.
