Bu çalışmada, Ankara'nın kentsel yerleşim alanını oluşturan farklı sosyo-ekonomik düzeylere sahip ailelerin (Alt/Orta/Üst SED) mutfakları örnekleme yöntemiyle 105 adet seçilmiş olup, konut mutfak donatı elemanlarının boyutları ve depolama hacimleri, kullanıcıların istek ve memnuniyet durumları saptanmıştır. Bu çalışmada veriler, anket uygulama, sistematik gözlem yapma ve donatı ölçülerini belirleme gibi üç farklı şekilde elde edilmiştir. Çalışma sonunda, (Alt/Orta/Üst SED) mutfaklarındaki donatı elemanlarına ait karakteristikler belirlenmiş ve en uygun çalışma koşullarının sağlanabilmesi bakımından gerek malzeme, gerekse donatı elemanlarının boyutları için ergonomik yaklaşımla çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur.

In this study, the kitchens of families which represent different socio-economic-status (classified as lower, middle and upper SES) in the urban area of Ankara 105 house kitchens have been selected and, the dimensional and storage sizes equipment elements of house kitchens, and the user wishes and pleasures have been surveyed. In this study, the data has been obtained in 3 different ways such as detailed questionary application, systematic observation, and surveying the sizes of equipment elements. At the end of this study, the characteristics of equipment elements at the kitchens which belong to people of different socio-economic-status are defined and in order to supply most suitable conditions, some solution proposals were presented with erconomic approach for both material and equipments.
