Öğretmen adaylarının ideal okula ilişkin görüşleri
Bu çalışma, öğretmen adaylarının ideal okula ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma nitel araştırma modellerinden biri olan durum çalışması deseninde yürütülmüştür. Çalışma grubu, 2016-2017 öğretim yılında Ordu Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi'ne devam eden 24 öğretmen adayından oluşmaktadır. Katılımcılar, ölçüt örnekleme metodu kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Veriler yarı-yapılandırılmış grid formu aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Öğretmen adayları ideal okul için 480 geçerli görüş üretmiştir. Katılımcıların görüşlerine dayalı olarak 15 alt tema belirlenmiştir. Bulgular, ideal okulda öğretim programının yapısal özellikleri, içeriği ve eğitimsel amaçlarının önemini ortaya koymaktadır. Aday öğretmenler, ideal okul yönetimi için kişisel yeterliğe, teknik yeterliğe ve demokratik tutuma öncelik vermektedir. İdeal okulda öğrenciler arasında iletişimin temel özelliklerini sürdürülebilirlik, iletişime değer katma ve dayanışma oluşturmaktadır. Ayrıca, öğretmenlerin mesleki ve kişisel yeterliklere sahip olması ve öğrenci merkezli tutum sergilemesi ideal okullar için gerekli nitelikler olarak ifade edilmektedir.
Prospective teachers’ opinions related to the ideal school
In this study, it was aimed to determine prospective teachers’ opinions related to theideal school. The case study design, as one of the qualitative research patterns, wasused. The study group was 24 prospective teachers attending Ordu University Facultyof Education during 2016-2017 academic year. The participants were determined byusing a criterion sampling technique. A semi-structured grid form was used to collectdata. Prospective teachers produced 480 valid views for the ideal school. Based on theparticipants’ views, 15 sub-themes were determined. The findings point out that thestructural qualifications, the content and educational purposes are essential for idealschool curriculum. Prospective teachers give priority to personal competence,technical sufficiency and democratic attitudes for ideal school management. Thefindings also show that value-based communication, solidarity and sustainability arethe main characteristics in inter-student communication for ideal school. In addition, itis specified that the teachers should display student-centred attitude, should haveprofessional and personal competences for ideal schools.
