Seboreik dermatitte humoral immünite ve akut faz reaktanları

Seboreik dermatitte humoral immunitenin rolü, serum akut faz reaktanları, immunglobulinler ve nitrik oksit düzeylerinin tespiti ve kontrol grupları ile karşılaştırılması amaçlanan bu çalışmaya dermatoloji polikliniğimize başvuran, 53 seboreik dermatitli hasta (%58.49’u kadın, %41.51’i erkek) ve 71 sağlıklı kontrol (%57.74’ü kadın, %42.26’sı erkek) değerlendirilmeye alındı. Seboreik dermatitli hastaların tanıları klinik olarak tespit edildi. Hasta grubu kendi içinde daha önceden tedavi almış ve almamış olarak iki grupta değerlendirilirken, hastalık süreleri de; 1 yıldan az, 1-3 yıl, 3-5 yıl ve 5 yıldan fazla olarak gruplandırıldı. IgG’nin subtiplerinden IgG3 ve IgG4, C3, haptoglobulin, seruloplazmin ve beta 2 mikroglobulin düzeyleri arasında hasta grubu ile kontrol grubu arasında anlamlı istatistiksel ilişki tespit edildi. Biyokimyasal parametreler açısından iki grup arasında istatistiksel bir fark yoktu. Daha önce tedavi uygulanmış ve uygulanmamış gruplar karşılaştırıldığında, tedavi alan grupta IgG2, IgG3 ve C4 düzeyleri arasında anlamlı istatistiksel fark tespit edildi. Humoral immunity and acute phase reactants in seborrheic dermatitis

The aim of the study is to determine the role of humoral immunity and levels of serum acute phase reactants, immunoglobulins and nitric oxide in seborrheic dermatitis compared with the control group. In this study, totally 124 persons were admitted to dermatology policlinic, 53 patients with seborrheic dermatitis (58.49% female, 41.51% male) and 71 healthy controls (57.74% female, 42.26% male), were evaluated. The diagnosis of seborrheic dermatitis was determined clinically. The patient group was divided in two groups as; previously treated and previously untreated, and disease periods were grouped as under 1 year, 1-3 years, 3-5 years and over 5 years. A statistically significant difference was determined between the levels of the IgG subtypes IgG3 and IgG4, C3, haptoglobulin, seruloplasmin and beta 2 microglobulin in the patient and control groups. When the comparison was made between the biochemical parameters, there was not a statistically significant difference between these groups (p>0.05). When a comparison was made between treated and untreated groups, a statistically significant difference among IgG2, IgG3 and C4 levels was determined in the treated group. According to the disease periods and biochemical parameters, IgG1, IgG2, IgE and C3 levels in the group in which the disease length was 3-5 years was statistically different in comparison with the other disease period groups. Seborrheic dermatitis is an inflammatory dermatosis and in its etiology infectious agents are known to be responsible, too. Serum level elevations of acute phase reactants and some of the immunoglobulins reveals the necessity that more comprehensive research be done among the patients with seborrheic dermatitis.
