Heaven and earth received great importance in the Quran; since they contained meanings and concepts of value to the oneness of Allah and his ability, and the great status; that why Allah Almighty has sworn by them in the Quran in order to demonstrate their status`s and the blessings both have, Allah Almighty has chosen the earth from all the planets for his creations to inhabit, and chosen the heaven to be parallel to this planet. The terms heaven and earth have been mentioned a lot in Quran. Heaven has appeared in about 310 positions, and earth has appeared in about 461 positions and all these positions carry different meanings and concepts. In this study we have cited from the books of linguistic and rhetorical and scientific books regarding the heaven and the earth.
