Sertleştirilmiş toz metal malzemenin EDM ile işlenmesiyle oluşan yüzey pürüzlülüğünün incelenmesi

Alışılmamış İmalat usulleri ile işleme yöntemlerinden biri olan Elektro Erozyon ile İsleme [EDM) yöntemi, kesici takım gerektirmemesi, sert, kırılgan, ince ve karmaşık geometrideki işlemlerin uygulanabilmesi olanağı ile gittikçe yaygınlaşan imalat türüdür. Bu çalışmada, bakır elektrot ile farklı EDM parametreleri kullanılarak (akım şiddeti, vurum süresi, bekleme süresi, aralık gerilimi ve farklı elektrot kutuplan) sertleşlirilmiş toz metal (soğuk iş takım çeliği) is parçasına uygulanması sonucu oluşan $R_0 (\mu m)$ pürüzlülük değerleri incelenmiştir. Farklı EDM parametreleri uygulanan, kaba ve hassas işlemler sonucu toz metal is parçası yüzeyinde meydana gelen $R_0$ yüzey pürüzlülük değerleri ölçülerek kendi içinde ve literatür calışmalarryla kıyaslanmıştır.

One of the non traditional manufacturing methods Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), is widespreading due to its applicability on hard, brittle, thin and complex geometry processes. In this study, by using different EDM parameters (currenl, pulse on-time, pulse off-time, arc voltage, polarity), copper electrodes arc applied on hardened powder materials (cold work tool steel. DIN 1.2379) $R_0 (\mu m)$ roughness values have boon investigated. The results obtained from ihis study are compared with each other and similar studios in the literature.
