Bilimsel Analiz Yöntemi ve Eğitim

The purpose of this research is to determine the frequency of analytical thinkingpractised by academics at Marmara University, Technical Faculty of Education. RelationScanning method was used in the study. A questionnaire developed by the reseacher was usedas a data collection tool. 225 students from Technical Facutly of Education, who were chosenrandomly, constitute the sample gorup. It was found at the end of the study that academics donot use analytical thinking much in their lessons. Recommendations were made related to thesubject matter.Key words : Analytical thinking, scientific analysis method.
