HUME'UN FELSEFESİNDE ZAMAN VE MEKÂNIN SONSUZ BÖLÜNEBİLİRLİĞİNİN İMKÂNI
Zaman-mekân tasarımı ve sonsuz bölünebilirlik tasarımı doğrudan doğruya Hume'un algıya dayalı epistemolojisinin bir parçasıdır. Hume bu tasarımları soyut tasarımlar olarak ele almaktadır. Bu çalışmada Hume'un zaman ve mekân tasarımları hakkındaki düşünceleri, soyut tasarımlar bağlamında kısaca ele alındıktan sonra sonsuz bölünebilirlik tasarımı araştırılacak ve bu tasarıma itirazının arkasında metafizik kaygılar olduğu iddia edilecektir. Bu iddia Hume'un "sonsuzluk" hakkındaki fikirleriyle desteklenecektir.
THE POSSIBILITY OF INFINITE DIVISIBILITY OF TIME AND SPACE IN HUME'S PHILOSOPHY
The ideas of the time-space and infinite divisibility are directly parts of the epistemology of Hume based on perception. Hume deals with these ideas as abstract ideas. In this study, the thoughts of Hume on the ideas of time and space will be handled briefly in terms of abstract ideas, and the infinite divisibility idea will be investigated; and it will be claimed that there are metaphysical concerns behind the objections to this idea. This objection will be supported with the thoughts of Hume on "infinity".
