Bu çalışma, Osmanlı Türkçesi gramerinin hemen her alanına dair ilk ve orijinal çalışmaların sahibi ve ilk yapma dilin üreticisi Muhyî-i Gülşenî'nin Bünyâd-ı Şi'r-i Ârif adlı eserinde işlediği Türkçenin yapı bilgisi bölümlerini içerir. 19. yy'a kadar yerli müelliflerce yazılmadığı sanılan Türkçenin yapı bilgisini (morfoloji) 16.yy'da inceleyen Muhyî'nin değerlendirmeleri, Türkçenin ses ve söz dizimi bölümlerine dair tespitleri dönemi için çığır açıcı niteliktedir. Eser, tarihî bir kıymetin ötesinde birçok gramer mevzuunda tezler içerir.

This study comprises the morphology of the Turkish language studied in Bünyâd-ı Şi'r-i Ârif by Muhyi-i Gülşeni, a doctor universalis who was the inventor of the first artificial language, and the owner of the earliest and original studies about almost every field in the Ottoman Turkish Grammar. The considerations of Muhyi who had studied the morphology of the Turkish Language in the XVI. century, which has been thought not to be composed until the XIX. century by Turkish authors, and his remarks regarding the phonem and syntax of the Turkish Language, have an efficiency which may capable to mark an epoch in this field. This work, beyond its historical value, has many theses on various grammatical issues.
