İSTİHDAM EDİLEBİLİRLİK BECERİLERİ VE BUBECERİLERİN KAZANDIRILMASıNA YÖNELİK STRATEJİLER

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, istihdam edi/ebilirlik beceri/erini belirlemek ve bu beceri/erin kazandırılmasına yönelik strateji/eri ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma, genel tarama modelinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırma veri/eri anket tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. İstihdam edi/ebilirlik beceri/erini belirlemek amacıyla geliştiri/en 100 maddelik Likert ölçeği Eskişehir 'de farklı sektörlerde etkinlik gösteren ve çalışan sayısı 50 'den çok olan 75 işletmenin insan kaynakları yönetici/erine uygulanmıştır. Veri/erin istatistiksel çözümlemeleri korelasyon, t-testi ve çoklu regresyon teknikleriyle yapılmıştır. Sonuçlar göstermektedir ki, işverenler, işe başvuran adaylarda sorumluluk, teknoloji, uyum, ekip çalışması, düşünme, iletişim, akademik işlem ve kendini yönetme beceri/erini aramaktadırlar. Işverenlerin gerekli gördükleri beceri/erin düzeyi i/e çalışanların sahip oldukları beceri/erin düzeyi karşılaştırıldığında ise, işverenlerin, işe başvuran adayları hiçbir beceri kategorisinde yeterli bulmadıkları anlaşılmaktadır. İstihdam edi/ebilirlik beceri/erinin kazandırılabilmesi için eğitimde bazı stratejileri izlemeye gereksinim vardır.

EMPLOYABILlTY SKILLS AND THE STRATEGIES FOR THE ACQUISITION OF THESE SKILLS

The main purpose ofthis study is to identify employability skills, assess the level of their existence in job applicants, and recommend necessary educational strategies in education. The data were gathered through questionnaire technique. A Likert type scale, including 100 items related to employability skills, was administered to the human resources managers ofthe 75selected companies in Eskişehir, each ofwhich employed more than 50 workers and functioned in difJerentsectors ofthe economy. Correlation analysis, ı-test, and multiple regression techniques were used in analyzing the data. Results show that employers want certain employability skills in job applicants: These include the skills related to responsibility, technology, adjustment, team work, thinking. communication, academic knowledge, and self management. However, employers indicate that job applicants exhibit none ofthese skills at a satisfactory level. Some educational strategies should be used for the successful acquisition ofemployability skills.
