Osteoporozda Fiziksel Tıp ve Rehabilitasyon

Osteoporoz tedavisinde farmakolojik ve non-farmakolojik tedavi yaklaşımları birlikte kullanılmaktadır. Non farmakolojik yöntemlerden egzersiz ile birlikte fiziksel tıp ve rehabilitasyon (FTR) uygulamalarının temel hedefleri hastalığın önlenmesi, tedavisi ve kronik durumun desteklenmesidir. Egzersizler ve diğer FTR uygulamaları ile birlikte osteoporozlu hastalarda dizabiliteyi azaltabilir, fiziksel fonksiyonu geliştirebilir ve düşme riskini azaltabilir.
