Diyet ve Pankreas Kanseri
Pankreas kanseri çok iyi bilindiği gibi prognozu kötü ve sağkalım süresi kısa olanbir kanser türüdür. Bu kanser türünün erken evrede tanı almasının zor olması, kemoterapive radyoterapi tedavilerine dirençli olmasından dolayı agresif bir hastalıktır. Bu nedenlerdendolayı pankreas kanserinin nedeninin ve etkili bir tedavi yönteminin bulunmasıönemlidir. Fazla kilolu olma, diyabet, sigara ve diyet tanımlanan bazı risk faktörlerindendir.Sağlıklı yaşama, düzenli egzersiz, sigara içmeme, ideal kiloyu koruma, düşükyağ ve şeker içeren diyetler pankreas kanseri ve daha birçok kanseri önleme de etkiliolduğu gösterilmiştir. Taze meyve ve sebze tüketimi pankreas kanseri gelişim riskiniazaltmaktadır. Son çalışmalarda kabuklu yemişlerin tüketiminin koruyucu etki gösterdiğisaptanmıştır. Diyetin pankreas kanserine karşı etkili olduğunu gösteren çalışmalararağmen bu alanda çok daha fazla araştırmaya ihtiyaç vardır. Bu çalışmada diyet alışkanlığıve pankreas kanseri arasındaki ilişkiyi tartıştık.
