BİR YERLİLEŞTİRME ÖRNEĞİ: -(s)Xn GERİYAPISI
Yapı üzerine tartışmadan ilk defa 2018 yılında haberdar oldum. Academia.edu internet sitesinde açılan bu tartışma 2019yılında bir makale hâlini aldı. Bugün bir kısmı yazı dilinde de kullanım alanı bulan yapının Eski Türkçedeki kullanımlarla bir ilgisinin var olup olamayacağı hususu tartışmanın da yazının da özünü oluşturmaktaydı. Bugün karşılaştığımız işlev farklılığı, ekten kelimeye olan değişim ve tarihî dönemlerde tanıklarına rastlanmaması yapının geçmişle bugün arasında kurulacak olan ilgisinin önündeki başlıca sorunlardır. Bu sorunları aşmak için inandırıcı delillere olan ihtiyaç ise ortadadır. Eğer böyle bir ilgi varsa özellikle ekten kelimeye doğru gelişim gerçekten inandırıcı delillerle ortaya konulması gereken önemli bir sorun oluşturmaktadır. Elimizde bildiğim kadarıyla benim de olmazlığına işaret ettiğim ve Steingass’ın ekten kelimeye geçişi iddiasında bulunduğuDede Korkut Oğuznameleri’nde de geçen ban kelimesi var. Bu tartışmalı örnek üzerindeki fikrim bugün de değişmiş değil. Tüm bunların karşısında yapının Eski Türkçe şekillerle benzerliği ise ortadadır. Bu yazıda bu benzerliğin sebebinin bir yerlileştirme olayı olduğu ileri sürülüp ispatlanmaya çalışılacaktır.
AN EXAMPLE OF DOMESTICATION: THE STRUCTURE -(s)Xn GERİ
I first heard about the debate on structure in 2018. This discussion openedon the academia.edu website became an article in 2019. The question of whether the structure, some of which is also used in written language today, could have a connection with the uses in Old Turkish was the essence of the discussion and the article. Thedifference in function that we encounter today, the change from suffix to word, and the absence of examples in historical periods are the problems in the connection of the structure that will be established between the past and the present. The need for convincing evidence to overcome these problems is obvious. If there is such a connection, especially the development from suffix to word is an important problem that should be put forward with convincing evidence. As far as I know, there is the word ban, which is also mentioned in the Dede Korkut Oghuz Names, which I also point out to be inappropriateness and that Steingass claims to the development from suffix to word. My opinion on this controversial example has not changed today. In the face of all these,the similarity of the structure with the Old Turkish forms is obvious.
