Endometriozis’te tümör marker ve nötrofil-lenfosit oranının prediktif rolü

Amaç: Endometriozis, uterin kavite dışında endometrial dokunun gelişimi ile karakterizedir.Bu çalışmanın amacı, endometriozis tanısında nötrofil / lenfosit oranı (NLO) ve kanser antijeni (CA) -125'in tanısal değerini araştırmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu retrospektif çalışmada, Ocak 2012 - Aralık 2017 tarihleri arasında Pamukkale Üniversitesi'nde endometriozis nedeniyle ameliyat edilen toplam 30 hastanın tıbbi verileri analiz edildi. Bulgular: Endometriozisli hastalarda NLO ve CA-125 arttı. Sonuç: Cerrahiye yapılmadan uygulanan tanısal bir test cerrahi ilişkili riskleri azaltır. Tanısal testin uygulanabilirliğini arttırır ve tedavi sonuçlarını iyileştirir.

Tumor markers and neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio’s predictive role in endometriosis

Objective: Endometriosis is characterized by the development of endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity. Aim of this study is to investigate the diagnostic value of neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR)  and cancer antigen (CA)-125 in a diagnosis of endometriosis. Material and methods: In this retrospective study, the medical data of a total of  30 patients who underwent surgery due to endometriosis between January 2012 to December 2017 at Pamukkale University were analyzed. Results: NLR and CA-125 were increased in the patients with endometriosis. Conclusion: A diagnostic test without the need for surgery will reduce the associated surgical risks, increase accessibility to a diagnostic test and improve treatment outcomes.
