Sütçü ineklerde beden kondisyon skorunun reprodüktif performans üzerine etkisi

Sütçü ineklerde beden kondisyon skoru (BKS) deri altı yağ dokusu miktarının ölçümüne dayanan sübjektif bir değerlendirme şeklidir. Sütçü ineklerde doğum öncesi ve sonrasındaki beden kondisyonunun reprodüktif performans üzerindeki etkisinin kanıtlanması ile, optimum fertilite değerlerinin kazanılması açısından BKS'nin önemli bir rehber olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Bu derlemede sütçü ineklerdeki kuru dönem, doğum ve izleyen laktasyon sürecindeki beden kondisyonunun reprodüktif performans ile ilişkisi son yıllarda yürütülen araştırmaların bulguları ışığında değerlendirilmiştir.

Effect of body condition score on reproductive performance in dairy cows

Body Condition Score (BCS) is used as an subjective estimation method for evaluation of the subcutaneous fat amount in dairy cows. Due to the effect of periparturient body condition score on reproductive performance of dairy cows has been proven, BCS is accepted as a management guide to get optimum fertility. In this review, the relationship between body condition score and reproductive performance of dairy cows during dry period, parturition and lactating period are evaluated in the lights of the data gathered from recent studies.
