2013-2014 Eğitim-Öğretim yılından beri, İlköğretim Bölümü, Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalında, 3. Sınıflarda seçmeli ders olarak okutulan, “Yerel Tarih ve Kültür Dersi”’nin içeriğini, “Siyah-Beyaz Fotoğraflarla Karadeniz Ereğli-Sözlü Tarih Çalışması” adlı eser oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretimi Programında bulunan; kavram, değer ve becerilerin öğretiminde, yerel tarih ve sözlü tarih çalışmalarının derslerde kullanılması amacına hizmet etmesi ve araştırmacılara bir örnek teşkil etmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Since the 2013-2014 School Term, the book: “ Oral History Study of Karadeniz Ereğli with Black-and-White Photographs” is forming the content of “Local History and Culture Lesson” which is given as an elective course to 3rd Class students of Elementary Section, Social Studies Education Department. In this study, it has been aimed to create an example to researchers and to support the usage of local history and oral history studies in lessons and education of concept, value and skill which are in the Education Program of Social Studies.
