t: Profesyonel futbolcu sözleşmesinin koruma dönemleri içinde haksız feshi durumunda, talep üzerine Uyuşmazlık Çözüm Kurulu tarafından futbolculara ve kulüplere sportif ceza uygulanmaktadır. Futbolculara 6-12 ay süreyle resmî müsabakalardan men, kulüplere ise 1-2 transfer ve tescil dönemine kadar transfer yasağı cezası verilebilmektedir. Hatta profesyonel futbolcunun transferini kolaylaştırmak amacıyla futbolcu ile kulübü arasındaki sözleşmeyi feshe yöneltecek şekilde hareket eden kişiler (kulüp yetkilileri, futbolcu temsilcileri, futbolcular, vs.) de cezalandırılabilmektedir. Bu şekilde, sözleşmelere aykırılık engellenmeye ve spor alanında düzen sağlanmaya çalışılmaktadır. İlk başlarda bu yaptırımın uygulanmasında çekingen davranan futbolcular ve kulüpler, zamanla bu yola daha fazla başvurmaya başlamıştır. Fakat başvurudan sonra gerek Uyuşmazlık Çözüm Kurulu aşamasında, gerekse Uyuşmazlık Çözüm Kurulu tarafından verilen kararın incelendiği Tahkim Kurulu aşamasında başvurularını değişik sebeplerle geri aldıkları görülmektedi

In case of unjust termination within the professional footballer contract period, the Dispute Resolution Board impose a sportive penalty on the footballers and clubs upon request. Footballers are banned from the official games for a period of 6 to 12 months whereas clubs are given a 1 to 2 years transfer ban and a transfer ban until the registration period. Moreover, the individuals (club authorities, footballers’ agents, footballers etc.) whose acts are to result in the dismissal of the contract between the footballer and club in order to facilitate the professional football transfer may also be punished. Through this, it is aimed to avoid violation of the contract and to systematize actions in the field of sports. The clubs and footballers, who were once reluctant in application of the sanction started to use this option more and more, in time. However, it is observed that some applications are withdrawn on various reasons both in the stage of the Dispute Resolution Board, and stage of Arbitration Board where the decision given by the Dispute Resolution Board is reviewed
