Treatment of medial shoulder joint luxation in dogs using two different operative techniques
The material of this study comprised of 4 dogs brought to the Istanbul University Veterinary Faculty Surgery Department with a complaint of foreleg lameness. After clinical and radiological examinations treatment of cases with medial shoulder luxation, laterally a figure "8" prosthesis technique applied in two and transposition of the biceps brachii tendon in other two. The cases treated with tendon transposition were start to walk more earlier than lateral "8" figure technique apllied and it is fixed that there were no problem left in postoperative period.
