Dişi köpeklerde taze ve donmuş spermayla intravaginal yolla yapılan sun'i tohumlama uygulamalarında elde edilen fertilite oranları

Çalışmada kullanılan 32 adet dişi köpekten 16'sı taze sperma, kalan 16'sı ise %4 gliserollü Tris-früktoz-sitrik asit sulandırıcısında payet yöntemine göre dondurulmuş sperma ile intravaginal yolla tohumlandı. Optimal tohumlama zamanının tespitinde "Ovulasyon Test Kiti" kullanıldı ve yan kantitatif saptanan progesteron değerine bakılarak (1-8 ng/ml) taze ve donmuş sperma ile dişiler gün aşın 3 kez tohumlandı. Fertility rates of intravaginal artificial inseminations with fresh and frozen semen in the bitch

A total of 32 bitches were used in this study, out of these 16 bitches were inseminated with fresh semen and the other with semen frozen by paillette technique in 4% glycerol containing Tris-fructose-citric acid extender by intravaginal route. The optimal insemination time was determined by Ovulation Test Kit and inseminations were repeated in both groups every other day for 3 times considering the semi-quantitative progesterone value (1-8 ng/ml).
