Bir köpekte bilateral multiple ovaryum kisti ve kistik endometriyal hiperplazi-pyometra olgusu

4 aydır süren kanlı-pıırulent vaginal akıntı, vulva ödemi ve nimfomani şikayeti ile kliniğimize getirilen hiç çiftleştiri Imenıiş, 13 yaşlı Terrier ırkı köpeğe tanı amacıyla ultrasonografi ve vaginal sitoloji uygulandı. Uterusun ultrasonografisinde anekojen alanlar tespit edildi. Vaginal sitolojide ise %100 oranında keratinize superficial hücrelerin varlığı gözlendi. Serum östradiol, progesteron ve testosteron değerleri sırayla 23.46 pg/ml; 0,030 ng/ml ve 0.020 ııg/ml olarak ölçüldü. Kistik endometriyal hiperplazi (CEH) tanısı konulan hastada uzun süren proöstrus kanaması ve pyometraya bağlı olarak anemi ve total lökosit sayısında (WBC) artış görüldü. Karaciğer ve böbrek dokusundaki yıkımlanma düzeyi incelendiğinde Aspartal aminotransferaz (AST), Alanin aminotransferaz (ALT), Alkalen fosfataz (ALP) ve üre değerlerinin normal sınırlar içinde olduğu kaydedildi. Sağıtım amacıyla ovaryotıisterektomi (OHE) operasyonu yapıldı. Operasyon sırasında en büyüğü sol ovaryumda 23x 12 mm boyutunda bir büyük kist, sağ ovaryumda ise çapları 3-5 mm arasında olan 3 kist tespit edildi. Bununla birlikte sol kornu uterideki proliferasyonun daha şiddetli seyrettiği tespit edildi. Folliküler kist kaynaklı hiperöstrogenizmin ipsilateral kornuduki kistik endometriyal hiperplazi-pyometra gelişimi üzerindeki etkisi bu olguda belirgin olarak gözlendi.

Bilateral multiple ovarian cyst and cystic endometriyal hyperplasia-pyometra in bitch

Ultrasonographic and vaginal cytologic examination were performed on a maiden 13-year bitch presented our clinics with the complainl of bloody-prulent vaginal charge, vulvar oedema and nymphomania for four months. There were anechogenic areas in uterine ultrasonography. It was observed cornified superficial epilhels 100% on cytologic exams. Serum estradiol, progesterone and testosterone levels were 23.46 pg/ml, 0.030 ng/ml and 0.020 ng/ml respectively. Anemia and high WBC were observed due to persistent haemorragy and pyomctra on bitch with CEH-pyometra. When it was measured the degeneration of liver and kidney, AST, ALT, ALP and urea were normal. For treatment, OHE operation was performed. During operation, ovarian cystes the biggest one was on the left ovarium (23x 12mm) and 3-5 mm diameter on the right ovarium were seen. Moreover, the proliferation of left cornu uteri was more severe than other. In this case, formation of CEH-pyometra in ipsilateral cornu uteri cause of long and high estrogenic effect was observed clearly
