Taxation and quoting are absolutely the most promiment issues in theIslamic commercial law. This study aims to explain the controversyamong Ibhadi scholars about the provisions of taxation and quotingconsidering Sheikh Bayyoud s fatwa on purchasing the taxes during theFrench Occupation of Algeria. Beside this the study also elaborates theunderstanding of Islamic Law in Sheikh Bayyoud s thought who is thelast Ibhadi Leader.
