SANATTA GÖÇ TEMASI

Göç, bir canlının kendi isteği veya zorunluluktan bulunduğu yerden başka bir yere gitmesi, hareket etmesi anlamına gelir. Ulusal ve uluslararası sınırlar içinde önemli bir yere sahip olan göçün altında politik, sosyal, kültürel, ekonomik birçok neden yatar. Örneğin Türkiye’de 1950’ler sonrası yaşanan göçler, ağırlıklı olarak ekonomik sebeplerden kaynaklanırken günümüzde, savaşlar, iç karışıklıklar bireyleri göçe zorlamaktadır. Yerinden edilme ya da terk etme, gitme durumu bakımından travmatik ya da duygusal bir anlama sahip olan göç; edebiyattan şiire, sinemaya, resme kadar birçok sanat dalının konusu olmuştur. Bu araştırmada, çalışmalarında göç konusuna yer veren sanatçı örnekleri ile göçün nedenleri, sonuçları, bireylerin yaşamını nasıl şekillendirdiği ve sanatçıların göç temasını yapıtlarına nasıl taşıdıkları açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bazı sanatçılar, bir duyarlılık ya da toplumsal olaylara yakınlık duyarak göç temasını yapıtlarına taşırken; bazı sanatçıların ise tamamen yaşantısal ve kişisel olarak deneyimledikleri göçü ve bunun onlarda ve onların toplumlarında bıraktıkları izi yapıtlarına taşıdıkları görülmüştür. Özellikle, son yıllarda gündemde olan mülteciler, göç etmek zorunda kalan insanlar, sınırlar, kimlik, taşınma, hareket, terk etme, ayrılma, yerinden olma, terk edilmiş alanlar, yıkıntı, yeni ev, özgürlük, yaşam gibi kavramlar çağdaş sanatçıların göçü irdelemelerinde etkin olarak yer alır. Görsel imgeler yoluyla, nesne, insan, mekân kurguları ile göçün bu zor sürecini, sonrasını, ait olamama durumunu estetik boyuta taşıdıkları ve sanat aracılığıyla bu konuya dikkat çekme, toplumda farkındalık yaratma gayesinde de oldukları görülmektedir. Özellikle çağdaş sanatın küresel tarafı, farklı kültürlerden sanatçıların çoklu tartışmalarına zemin hazırlamakta, bireysel ya da ulusal anlamda göçü yaşamamalarına rağmen; bir göçmen, ziyaretçi ya da kâşif olarak sınırlar dışında dolaşabilmelerini, haberdar olmalarını ve bunu yapıtlarına taşımalarını sağlamaktadır.

MIGRATION THEME IN ART

Migration means that an alive is going to move from one place to another where it is from its own will or necessity. There are many reasons as political, social, cultural and economical under the immigration which has an important place within national and international borders. For example, migrations after 1950s in Turkey were mainly due to economic reasons, and today, wars and internal disturbances are pushing the people to migration. Migration, which has a traumatic or emotional meaning in terms of displacement or abandonment has been the subject of so many arts from literature to poetry, cinema, painting. In this research, it was tried to explain the causes of migration, the results, how they shape the lives of the individuals and how the artists convey the theme of migration to their artworks. While some artists have moved the theme of immigration into their works by being close to a sensitivity or social events; others have experienced immigration, which they have experienced completely and personally, and that they have carried this and traces left in their societies on their artworks. In particular, in recent years the concepts are actively involved in the examination of the migration of contemporary artists such as refugees, immigrants, borders, identity, remove, movement, abandonment, being in place, separation, destruction, new home, freedom and life. It is seen that they are carrying out this difficult process of migration with objects, people, space fictions by means of visual images. They carry the state of nonbelonging to aesthetic dimension and they are also in the point of attracting attention to this issue through art and creating awareness in the society. Especially the global aspect of contemporary art, the fact that in preparing for the multiple debates of artists from different cultures, despite they do not live migrants in individual or national sense; As an immigrant, visitor or explorer, they are able to travel around the borders, to be informed and to carry it to their works.
