KÜLTÜR VE KÜLTÜR BOYUTLARININ İNOVASYON KAPASİTELERİ ÜZERİNE ETKİLERİ

Çalışmanın amacı, son yıllarda rekabet üstünlüğünün en önemli kaynaklarından biri olarak görülen inovasyon ile kültür arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Bu amaçla kültür, inovasyon ve Hofstede kültür boyutları kavramları tanımlanmış ve aralarındaki ilişki ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Ülkelerin kültürel yapılarının inovasyon yetkinlikleri üzerine etkilerinin olup olmadığı, literatürde uzun süredir incelenmektedir. Ülkelerin kültür boyutları üzerine en önemli literatür çalışması Hofstede tarafından yapılmıştır. Bu çalışma sonucuna göre ulusal kültür, inovasyonu etkilemektedir ve bir işletme, yeni bir ülkede faaliyette bulunacaksa,  o ülkenin kültürünü analiz etmesi ve başka bir kültürde başarılı olmak için gerekli yapısal değişiklikleri gerçekleştirmesi çok önemlidir. Bu amaçla kültür, inovasyon kavramları tanımlanmış ve aralarındaki ilişki ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları kültürün ve  Hofstede kültür alt boyutlarının yeniliği üzerinde önemli ve anlamlı bir etkiye sahip olduğunu göstermiştir.
