Mısır Vilayeti'nin İlk Belediye Teşkilatı: İskenderiye Belediyesi (1890)

İngiliz arşiv belgelerinden faydalanarak hazırlanan bu makale 1890 tarihinde kurulan İskenderiye Belediye'sinin ortaya çıkış süreci, kuruluşu ve I. Dünya Savaşı'na kadarki faaliyetlerini inceleyerek, Kahire'den de önce kurulan Mısır'ın ilk belediyesinin Mısır'daki diğer belediyelere model olduğunu tespit etmektedir.

The First Municipal Organization of the Province of Egypt: The Municipality of Alexandria (1890)

Relying on the British archival documents, this article examines the foundation of Alexandria municipality in 1890 and its activities until World War I. The article presents that founded before the municipality of Cairo, Alexandria municipality became a model for all other municipalities in Egypt.
