Maden Karmaşığı'na ait volkanitlerin petrografik ve petrolojik özellikleri

Maden Karmaşığı Toros Orojenik Kuşağı'nın doğu kesiminde farklı konumlarda yüzeyleme sunmaktadır. Doğu Toroslar da geniş yayılım sunan Maden Karmaşığı, farklı litolojik özellikler göstermekte, farklı birimlerle birincil veya tektonik ilişkiler sunmaktadır. Maden Karmaşığı çalışma alanında bazaltik lavlar, diyabazlar, tüf, lapillitaşı, aglomeralar ve kırmızı renkli çamurtaşı ve kireçtaşı bloklarından oluşmuştur. Birim, ofiyolitler tarafından tektonik olarak üzerlenirken, tabanında Bitlis-Pütürge Metamorfitleri ile diskordans bir ilişki göstermektedir. Maden Karmaşığı volkanitleri bazalt, bazaltik andezit ve andezitlerden oluşmuş kalkalkali karekterli düşük ve orta K bileşimlidir. Kayaçlar MORB'a göre yüksek LILE ve LREE zenginleşmesi ve HFSE konsantrasyonlarına sahiptirler. Jeokimyasal veriler, volkanitlerin Orta Eosen döneminde Üst Kretase'den beri bölgede devam etmekte olan kuzeye doğru dalma-batmaya bağlı olarak oluşan magmatik yay da gelişmiş olduklarını vermektedir.

Petrographical and petrological features of volcanics of Maden Coplex

Maden Complex which are situated in the Eastern Taurus Orogenic Belt around crop out different situations. Maden Complex which cover large area in the Eastern Taurus Orogenic Belt represented by different lithological features and initially or tectonic relationships with different units. Maden Complex consist of basaltic lavas, diabase dike, tuff, lapillistone, aglomerates and red colored mudstone, limestone blocks in the investigated area. Maden Complex overthrust on to the Upper Cretaceous ophiolites and overlie discordantly on to the Bitlis Pütürge Metamorphics. The geochemical data indicate that the volcanics belong to Maden Complex consist of low and medium K-bgsalt, basaltic andesite and observed arc volcanic characteristics belong to the calcalkaline serie. These volcanics pointed negative HFSE ' anomaly as trace elements and get low HFSE concentration according to LILE. Maden Complex were formed by above a northward-dipping, as a result of subduction of Neotethyan Ocean during Upper Cretaceous
