Asymptomatic unilateral cerebellar agenesia

Objective: We described a case with unilateral cerebellar agenesia that is usually asymptomatic, rarely seen and detected incidentally with radiologic imaging findings. Case report: A fourteen years old male patient with sensorio-neural hearing loss was examined by posterior fossa and cranial computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. They revealed a lost of aeration, and sclerosis in the middle ear and mastoid air cells and nearly total absence of right cerebellar hemisphere. Conclusion: Cases with unilateral cerebellar agenesia that are usually asymptomatic have been described easily by radiologic imaging techniques.
