Prolifere trikolemmal tümör

Amaç: Prolifere trikolemmal tümör kıl folikülünün dış kök kılıfından gelişen, nadir görülen bir tümördür. Özellikle skalpte ve yaşlı bayanlarda gözlenir. Skuamöz hücreli kanser ile sık sık karıştığı için ayırıcı tanısı iyi yapılması gerekmektedir. Olgu sunumu: Olgumuzda gözün lateralinde iyileşmeyen yara ile başvuran hastaya yapılan medikal tedaviye rağmen fayda görmemesi üzerine kitle eksizyonu yapıldı ve patoloji sonucu pilar tümör olarak rapor edildi. Sonuç: Bu olguda bu tümörün tanı, kliniği ve histolojik özellikleri tartışılmıştır.

Proliferating tricholemmal tumor

Objective: Proliferating trichilemmal tumor (PTT) is a rare but morphologically distinctive tumor that usually occurs in the scalp of elderly women. It may easily be confused with squamous cell carcinoma. For this reason these two tumors must properly be differentiated from each others. Case report: A 65-year-old man presented with left lateral of eye which was treated conservatively. The patient underwent excision of mass and it is reported that pylar tumor. Conclusion: Diagnostic, clinicoprognostic and histological features of this tumor are discussed.
