Use of Fish Vaccine in Aquaculture

In the past few decades, the use of vaccines for disease prevention in aquaculture has expanded. Some important disease causing bacteria such as Vibrio sp., Aeromonas sp. and Yersinşa sp. have been controlled with the use of vaccines. This is especially true with the use of adjuvant that helped in the control of Frunkulosis in Fish. There are other studies that reported positive result with the control of bacterial, viral and parasitic diseases using inactive and live inoculums as well as DNA technology. Furthermore, routes of administration by injection, immersion and oral delivery of vaccine will also be discussed in this review.
