Bu çalışmada, 5 akvaryum hazırlanmış, birer hafta arayla 3 (3x5) seri deney yapılarak, toplam canlı koliform bakteri sayısı tespit edilmiştir. Akvaryumlarda 2'şer adet olmak üzere Tinca tinca L., 1758 ve Alburnus escherichi Steindachner, 1987 kullanılmıştır. Balıklar Mogan Gölü\'nden avlanarak temin edilmiştir. Akvaryum suyundan hazırlanan dilüsyonlar VRBA (Violet Red Bile Agar)\'da yayma yöntemiyle çalışılmıştır. Petriler 30±10C ve 35±10C'de 24 saat inkübasyona bırakılmış ve sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir.
