Feeding dietary of rudd (Scardinius erythropthalmus (L., 1758) inhabiting Samsun Bafra fish lakes

Bu araştırmada, Ocak 2000 - Aralık 2000 tarihleri arasında Bafra Balık Gölleri (Tatlı Göl ve Gıcı Gölü)'nden yakalanan 160 Kızılkanat Balığı (Scardinius erythrophthalmus L., 1758)'nın sindirim sistemi içerikleri incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada, kızılkanat balığının tükettiği besin çeşitlerinin yaşa ve mevsimlere göre tercih edilip edilmediğinin tespiti amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda besin çeşitleri, Geometrik Önem İndeksi (GII) metoduyla incelenmiştir. Bu indisle elde edilen sonuçlar mevsimler ve yaşa bağlı olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak; Kızılkanat Balığı'nın yaş grupları ve mevsimler için bir besin tercihinin olmadığı belirlenmiştir.

In this study, the stomach contents of 160 Rudd (Scardinius erythrophthalmus L., 1758) collected from Samsun-Bafra Fish Lakes (Tatlı Lake and Gıcı Lake) between January, 2000 and December, 2000 were investigated. The purpose of this research is to establish whether the dietary preferences of Rudd (Scardinius erythrophthalmus L., 1758) change on account of age and/or seasons. Food items were examined in accodance with the Geometric Index of Importance (Gil) method. The results obtained from this index were also evaluated in relation to seasonal and age-dependent variables. It was observed that dietary preferences of Rudd (Scardinius erythrophthalmus L., 1758) do not change with age and the seasons.
