Next Generation Emergency Call System For Turkey

Next Generation Emergency Notification System after emergency call (eCall) equippedvehicle regulations with the legislation EU-2015/758 will be an obligation in EU in 2018 andeCall units are set up into the vehicles in Turkey after 2018. ‘Data Gathering by stage PSAP1and resource Dispatching by stage PSAP2 in an integrated control room’ which is applied inTurkey will be modified via Turkey’s traffic management. Traffic and vehicle infrastructureswill be updated after eCall equipped vehicle regulations. In this study, next generationemergency call system in vehicles is introduced and Optimal traffic infrastructure in Turkeyis analysed via cost modeling.
