İntraabdominal Basınç Shunt Disfonksiyonu Sebebi midir? Pediatrik Olgu Sunumu
Intraabdominal Pressure: Is it a Cause of Shunt Dysfunction? A Pediatric Case Report
Ventriculoperitoneal shunting is the most common and most effective methodto resolve hydrocephalus. A dysfunctioning shunt is a cold fact and beginningof cascades of various problems for every neurosurgeon. In this article wediscussed probable mechanisms of shunt dysfunction due to anabdominopelvic problem which is treated by a basic indwelling urinarycatheter in a 14 year old boy.
