Incidentally detected leydig cell tumor of the testis

Leydig cell tumor of the testis is rare. Patients with this kind of tumor usually present with a mass in the testis, infertility or endocrinological symptoms due to the steroidal hormones secreted by the tumoral tissue. Very rarely, it may be detected incidentally by routine laboratory tests. The patient presented with scrotal swelling (hydrocele). Scrotal ultrasonography showed hydrocele and a mass in the testis. Inguinal orchiectomy was performed and the diagnosis was Leydig cell tumor.
