Kobi'ler: Sosyo-Ekonomik Bir Perspektif
KOBİ'leri küresel ölçekte ilgi odağı kılan ana etken 1970'lerde başlayan sosyoekonomik/politik dönüşüm sürecidir. Bu sürece bağlı olarak kitlesel üretim döneminin sona ermesi, üretimin tüketim odaklı bir yörüngeye girmesi ve tüketici taleplerinin değişken bir bağlama oturması KOBI'lerin yükseliş trendinin yolunu açmıştır. KOBİ'ler esnek örgütsel yapıları itibariyle piyasalarda meydana gelen değişmelere hızlı ve kolay adapte olabilmeleri, üründe kalite, çeşitlilik, estetik, miktar, zamanında sunum vb. bakımlardan tüketici taleplerine cevap verebilmeleri gibi avantajlara sahip olmalarıyla büyük firmalardan çok daha etkili oluşumlardır. Bu oluşumlar, sosyo-ekonomik süreçte yerine getirdikleri çok yönlü işlevlerle de dikkati çekmektedirler. Ancak, KOBI'lerin Türkiye'de yeterince gelişmiş oldukları söylenemez.
SMEs: A Socio-Economical Perspective
The major factor that renders SMEs attractive at the global scale is the socio-economical/political transformation process starting in 1970s. Depending on this process the ending of mass production period, the entering of production into a consumption centered trajectory and the fitting the demands of consumers in a variable context have led to the rising trend of SMEs. SMEs are more effective formations than the big firms for having such advantages as adapting easily and rapidly to the changes in the market due to their flexible organizational structure, supplying the demands of the consumers with respect to the quality of the product, variability, aesthetic, amount and presentation on time etc. These formations also attract attention with the multi-functions which they perform in the socio-economical process. Yet it can not to be said that SMEs have sufficiently developed in Turkey.
