Bu çalışmada öğrencilerin İngilizce duyuşsal alana ilişkin görüş ve tutumlarını ölçecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır. Bunun için önce 91 maddelik beşli Likert tipi "İngilizce Duyuşsal Alana İlişkin Tutum Ölçeği" geliştirilmiştir. Ölçek geliştirilirken ilgili literatürden, öğrenci görüşlerinden ve uzman yargısından yararlanılmıştır. Fırat Üniversitesi'nde okuyan 310 öğrenciden elde edilen veriler faktör analizi yöntemi kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan analiz sonucunda, 38'i olumlu, 18'i olumsuz toplam 56 madde seçilmiş ve ölçeğin Cronbach Alpha güvenirlik katsayısı .95 olarak bulunmuştur. Bu sonuç, ölçeğin güvenilir bir ölçek olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Ölçeğin KMO değeri .94, Bartlett testi ise 8084,684 olarak bulunmuştur. Ölçek tek boyutlu bir ölçek olup, öğrencilerin İngilizce dersinde duyuşsal alana ilişkin özelliklerini ölçmektedir.

In this study it was aimed to develop a valid and reliable Likert type attitude scale to measure the ideas and attitudes of the students in affective domain towards English courses. To realize that aim a 91- item "Attitude Scale on Affective Domain in English Classes" was developed. While developing the scale, related literature was searched, students' opinions were asked and experts' ideas were benefited. The data obtained from 310 students studying at Fırat University were evaluated by using factor analysis. The data were analyzed and evaluated by using factor analysis. In statistical analysis 56 items were chosen for the second analysis. There are 38 positive, 18 negative attitude items in the scale. Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient of the scale was found as .95. This result shows that the scale is a reliable scale. KMO value of the scale was found as .94, Bartlett's test was determined as 8084,684.
