Trombositten Zengin Fibrin'in Kemik İyileşmesi Üzerine Etkileri
Bu çalışmada, deneysel kemik defektlerinde trombositten zengin fibrin (TZF) uygulamasının kemik iyileşmesi üzerine etkilerinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada 12 adet Yeni Zelanda ırkı tavşan kullanıldı. Tavşanların her iki tibiasının proksimal metafizine yakın mesafede olmak üzere tibial defektler oluşturuldu. Oluşturulan 24 adet defektin on iki adedi boş bırakılarak kontrol grubu olarak değerlendirilirken, kalan defektler TZF ile dolduruldu. Klinik ve radyografik muayeneler operasyondan hemen sonra, 15, 30, 45 ve 60. günlerde gerçekleştirildi. Postoperatif 30. ve 60. günlerde altışar tavşan sakrifiye edilerek histopatolojik muayeneleri gerçekleştirildi. Radyolojik ve histolojik muayeneler sonucunda TZF kullanılan defektlerdeki kemik iyileşmesinin daha iyi olduğu belirlendi. Sonuç olarak, TZFnin erken dönem kemik iyileşmesini önemli miktarda artırdığı, iyi bir greft materyali olarak rahatlıkla kullanılabileceği kanısına varılmıştır.
Effects of Platelet-Rich Fibrin on Bone Healing
This study aimed to investigate the effects of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) used as bone healing accelerator in experimental bone defects. In the study, 12 New Zealand rabbits were used. The defects, upper proximal metaphysis of both tibia of each rabbits were created. Twelve of twenty-four defects performed were left empty to serve as the control group and the remaining defects were filled with PRF. Clinical and radiographic examinations, immediately and the 15th, 30th, 45th and 60th days after the operation were performed. Postoperative 30th and 60th days, rabbits were sacrificed and histopathological examinations were performed. Radiological and histological examinations showed that the bone healing in PRF defects was better than other. As a result, PRF was observed to considerably improve early bone healing, and it was suggested that it can readily be used as a good graft material.
