Horse colic and examination parameters in the horse with colic

Equine colic caused by several factors is often encountered in general equine practice and may lead to severe clinical conditions and death. In the colic cases, the identification of significant clinical and laboratory variables is necessary to predict a reliable treatment and prognosis. In this review, literature information about the colic and examination parameters in the horse with colic has been given.
