The sensitivity of proton halo nuclei to the nuclear radius
$beta$- decay of halo nuclei near the proton and neutron dripline provides an important knowledge about nuclear structure. In this nuclei, since the separation energy of the last nucleon(s) becomes extremely small, the root mean square (rms) values of halos that extends far outside the core have been larger than core and matter radius of nuclei. This effect of the halo could have an important influence in that the increasing of the $beta$-decay probability and the reducing of the logft values for halo nuclei. In this study, the sensitivity to nuclear radius of the phase-space factor in ß-decay was investigated for $^{8}B, ^{12}N, ^{9}C, ^{17}F$ and $^{17}Ne$ proton halo nuclei and the new modification depended on the rms radii was proposed for the phase-space factor. The logft values of these halo nuclei were calculated by the proposing modification. These results were compared with the other experimental and theoretical studies and found the reasonable results between them.
