Distributed power system consisting of inverters

A distributed power system consisting of two uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) is investigated in this paper. The investigation is concentrated on the parallel operation of the inverters at the output of the supplies. Parallel operation of sources increases the established power of the system while also increasing the reliability as one source still continues to function even when one of the inverters has a fault. Therefore, inverters operate at the optimal power level, and faults due to over loading are prevented. No communication line is used in parallel operation and load sharing. Simulation studies show that the suggested control algorithm works and provide important advantages for a reliable operation.
