Orbital kavernöz hemanjiom: Magnetik rezonans görüntüleme bulguları

Kavernöz hemanjiomlar erişkinde en sık görülen benign vasküler orbital tümörlerdir. Yavaş büyüme eğilimindedirler. Klinik olarak ağrısız proptozis ile karakterizedir. Orbital kavernöz hemanjiomların orijini ve mekanizması belli değildir. Orta yaş kadınlarda genellikle tek taraflı soliter tümörler olarak görülürler. Biz bu olgumuzda 48 yaşında bayan hastada intrakonal yerleşimli orbital kavernöz hemanjiomun manyetik rezonans görüntüleme bulgularını sunuyoruz.

Magnetic resonance imaging findings of cavernous hemangioma of the orbit

Cavernous hemangioma is the most common vascular benign tumor of orbit at adults. Tendency of the tumor is slowly grow. Clinically, it is charecterized with painless proptosis. Origin and mechanism of this tumor is uncertain and usually occur at middle age women as unilateral soliter tumor. We present magnetic resonance findings of orbital cavernous haemangioma located as intraconal at forty-eight year-old woman.
