Tedavi süresi tamamlandığında çekilmesi gerekliliğinin hastaya bildirilmemesi veya hastanın bu durumdan haberdar olmasına rağmen bu işlem için sağlık kuruluşuna başvurmaması durumunda üriner sistemde unutulan üreteral double J stentler ürolojik vakalarda ender görülmemekte ve ciddi sorunlara yol açmaktadır. Bu sorunlar enkrüstasyon,enfeksiyon, migrasyon, hidronefroz ve fragmantasyon durumları olarak sıralanabilirler. Böyle bir durumun gelişmemesi için double j kateter yerleştirilen hastaların bilgilendirilmesi ve takiplerinin dikkatli yapılması önem arz etmektedir. Bu olguda; 2 yıllık unutulmuş, kopmuş ve taşlaşmış double j stentinin endoskopik ve perkütan yolla üriner sistemden çıkarılması anlatılmıştır

Endoscopic and Percutaneous Removal of Forgotten Fragmanted and Stone Incrustated Double J Stent after Two Years

Forgotten ureteral double J stents due to lack in informing the patient about the necessity of the removal of the stent by completing the therapeutic period or patient"s choice not to apply are not rare and may cause serious problems. These problems may be listed as incrustation, infection, migration, hydronephrosis and fragmentation. In order to avoid such a condition informing the patients about their stents and close follow-up is crucial. In this case we presented the endoscopic and percutaneous removal of a forgotten fragmanted and stone incrustated double j stent after two years
