MÜZYK Ö?RETMENLY?Y PROGRAMI ÖZEL YETENEK SINAVLARINA BA?VURAN ADAYLARIN SOSYO-DEMOGRAFYK AÇIDAN BA?ARI DURUMLARININ DE?ERLENDYRYLMESY

Bu ara?tyrmanyn amacy; Ynönü Üniversitesi E?itim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar E?itimi Müzik Ö?retmenli?i Programyna ba?vuran adaylaryn, sosyo-demografik özellikleri ile ba?ary durumlary arasyndaki ili?kiyi belirlemektir. Ara?tyrma 2010-2011 E?itim Ö?retim yyly özel yetenek synavyna ba?vuran 387 adayla gerçekle?tirilmi?tir. Adaylaryn sosyo-demografik özellikteki ba?ymsyz nitelik içeren; Cinsiyet, mezun olunan lise türü, ya?antynyn ço?unun geçirildi?i yer-bölge, anne-baba e?itim durumu, aile aylyk gelir (varsa adayyn geliri de dahil), aile müzik ilgi durumu, özel yetenek synavlaryna hazyrlyk süresi ve hazyrlanma biçimleri, hazyrlyk süreci dy?ynda müzik e?itimi alma durumu, synavda performans gösterdi?i çalgy de?i?kenlerine göre ba?ary durumlary incelenmi?tir. Veriler yüzde-frekans cinsinden çapraz tablolarla de?erlendirilmi?tir. Çaly?manyn sonucunda; kyz-erkek aday sayysynyn birbirine yakyn olmasy, GSSL çyky?ly adaylaryn yüksek olmasy, adaylaryn büyük?ehirden gelme oranynyn yüksek olmasy, anne-babanyn müzikle ilgili olmasy dikkat çekici unsurlardyr.

EVALUATION OF THE APPLICANTS'SUCCESS SITUATIONS IN ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS OF MUSIC TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMMES IN TERMS OF SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC VARIABLES

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the success situations and socio-demographic traits of the applicants of 2010-2011 academic years' special talent(entrance) examinations in Ynönü University, Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education,Music Teaching Programme. The study was carried out with 357 entrants who were applied for the special talent (entrance) examinations in the academic year of 2010-2011. Applicants' success situations were examined according to the socio demographic variables individual in quality such as gender, the type of high school they graduated from, the place – region in which most of the life time were spent, parents' educational level, families' monthly income(applicants' income was included too, if existed), families' interest in music, the lenght of the preparation period for the exams and the way applicants did it, the situation of having music education aside from the preparation period (buna situation of having previous background diyebilirmiyiz) and the instrument performed. The data were evaluated in terms of percentage-frequency by using cross tabulation. Noticeable findings were encountered at the end of the study indicated that,there was a close proximity between the number of male and female applicants,the applicants graduated from High Schools of Fine Arts were higher in number, the students coming from the bigger cities were higher in ratio, and there was parental interest in music.
