İş kuluçkalarında yeni kurulan girişimlerin hayatta kalmalarını etkileyen faktörler
Bu çalışma, İş Geliştirme Merkezlerinde (İŞGEM) faaliyet gösteren yeni kurulmuş firmaların hayatta kalma çabalarını etkileyen temel faktörleri tespit etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada kullanılan faktörler girişimci özellikleri, firma özellikleri, kuluçka hizmet ve özellikleri, sektörel, bölgesel ve makroekonomik etkenlerin yer aldığı dışsal (çevresel) etkenler olmak üzere dört düzeyde gruplandırıl-mıştır. Türkiye'deki 12 merkezde faaliyet gösteren İŞGEM'lerde anketler yapılarak ve elde edilen veriler kullanılarak etkili olan temel faktörler ekonometrik yöntemlerle tahmin edilmiştir. Kuluçka tarafından sunulan hizmetlerin, kuluçkada faaliyette olan firmalarının hayatta kalma çabalarında etkili oldukları anlaşılmıştır.
Factors affecting survival of newly established enterprises in business incubators
The aim of this study is to determine the factors which affect the survival ability of new enterprises residing in İŞGEMs. Factors that are investigated are grouped under four categories. The characteristics belong to founding owner, to founded enterprise, to the business incubator and to environment, including region, industry and the macro economy. Thus, a survey study has been performed in İŞGEMs aging more than three years. Econometric estimates indicate that innovation and networking activity within firm, firm's number of owners, incubator services as well as entrepreneur's managerial experience have positive impact both on firm's survival. Entrepreneur's mandatory dependency for income to his newly established firm reduces survival of the firm.
